We would like to wish the best to all of TAFS College bound graduates! We are so proud of the remarkable strides each one has made toward achieving their personal goals! We hope that each young adult continues to have a successful college experience as they face new challenges. They have come so far and we know each of them has what it takes to do their best! Congrats!
We would like to congratulate all of the teens graduating high school and going off to college. Each of our graduates started Teen & Family Services because they were participating in high risk and harmful behavior. We have had the pleasure to watch our high school graduates grow into college bound young adults. Way to go!
TAFS is preparing for our second annual Sporting Clays fund-raising event. Ongoing community support allows us to continue our mission of serving any family in need of our services in the greater Houston area.
The date for the 2011 event is April 8th. We look forward to seeing everyone again, and thanks for your continued support.
I want to thank everyone in the TAFS community for supporting our first annual fund raising event. The event was an overwhelming success, and thanks to the generous donations of all the participants and community sponsors we will be able to provide eight full scholarships for families with limited financial means to receive services in 2010 !
We also received donations to provide scholarships for two teens to
attend our summer retreat in Buena Vista Colorado. As most of you know this summer trip is a life changing event for many teens in our program year after year and the donations allow us to continue the TAFS mission of providing all available services to our families
regardless of their ability to pay.
We are already beginning to plan next year’s event, and we will get the information out to the community sometime in the fall.
